110 Sulphur Seniors To Bid Farewell During SHS Graduation

At Oklahoma School For The Deaf, Seven Seniors Will Graduate May 21

One of the largest senior classes in Sulphur High School history will cross the stage this Friday, May 16 at the school’s annual commencement exercises.

All total, 110 seniors will get their diplomas in ceremonies at Agee Field beginning at 8:00 p.m. (In case of inclement weather, the program will move to the Crossway Church.)

Oklahoma School for the Deaf will hold their commencement exercises on Wednesday, May 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the OSD gym. A total of seven seniors will graduate.

Sulphur High School exercises will get underway with the Processional, “Pomp and Circumstance,” to be performed by the Sulphur High School band under the direction of Jordan Eaton, director. It will be followed by the invocation and Flag salute, to be led by Senior Class Vice-President, Caden Cole.

Senior Class President Nash Williamson will then address the Class of 2025.

He will be followed by the selection, “Fanfare for the Third Planet,” to be performed by the SHS band which will honor senior band members, James Anding, Riley Love and Zeeva Skidmore-Beaney.

Sulphur Public School Superintendent Matt Holder will then present the Oklahoma Scholars and Honor Graduates, followed by the presentation of the senior class and the turn of tassels announcement by Principal Clete Cole.

Caden Cole will then conclude the program with the Benediction followed by the Recessional, “Pomp and Circumstance,” by the SHS band.

Serving as Honor Escorts for this year’s exercises will be juniors, Emma Arms, Hunter Burleson, Caden Caraway, Colten Cole, Jonah Cole, Landy DeArman, Brookelyn Gaddy, Brody Jennings, Kenleigh Johnson, Maddax Mobly, Reese Moore, Cambree Ransom, Emily Rogers, Connor Sullivan, Castin Tully, Brody Wallace, and Megan Wells.
