Memorial services for Linda Lee (Webb) Turner will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur.
Graveside services for Mennie Bernice (Griffith) Hector-Pettitt were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, with Neal Hector officiating.
Geneva “Delcine” Gilbert Young, 86, of Davis, passed away on September 14, 2020 at Elmbrook Home in Ardmore. She was born at home near Norman on August 22, 1934 to John and Mary Gilbert. She was the eighth of nine children. She and W. T. Young were married on July 12, 1952. She owned her own business for many years before she earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from The University of Central Oklahoma, graduating with honors. She taught for the Oklahoma City Public School District for 20 years. She was awarded district, state, and regional Teacher of the Year, (Trade and Industrial Division) in 1989. After retiring, she and W. T. moved to Davis, where she was an active member of First Baptist Church and Murray County Retired Educator’s Association.
Services for Barbara Jean Allen, 83, of Wynnewood, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Ada. Pastor Darryl Simmons will officiate. A Committal Service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 18 at the Merit Cemetery in Merit, TX. Rev. Jim Corbet will officiate.
Services for Gene Neal, 95, Sulphur, were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 at Crossway Baptist Church officiated by Rev Bill Leveridge. Burial was held at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home.
