Housekeeping Items OK’d As New Fiscal Year Looms

With the new physical year on the horizon, Murray County Commissioners approved several housekeeping items at the regular weekly meeting Monday.

The board approved FY 25-26 annuals contracts for the Murray County Health Department and various agencies including the following: Digi SmartSense, LLC., Daisha Graves, GreEnergy Resources, Inc., King Heat & Air, Matthew McDonald, Pitney Bowes, Standley Systems, The Big Man, LLC., Wilson, Dotson & Associates, and Arbuckle Memorial Hospital.

Members also approved receiving and requisitioning agency for the Murray County Health Department.

Several agenda items presented by the Murray County Treasurer received approval, including the following:

• A Resolution authorizing the Treasurer’s Office to move funds if needed and to deposit all interest income earned upon deposits to the general fund;

•the Investment Policy for FY ‘26 for Murray County Treasurer allowing treasurer to seek highest interest rates on investments;

•approved the Resale Property Fund Financial Statement; and

•contract between the Murray County Treasure’s Office and Quadient Lease USA Inc. for FY 26 for mail machine.

The annual Resolution for County Officers Travel Allowance was approved as well as CENA Grant Applications for Oak Grove and Dougherty Senior Citizens Centers.
