Elks Lodge Hosts Carson Hollis Golf Camp
The Sulphur Davis Elks Golf Club hosted the 6th annual Carson Hollis youth golf clinic last week. The camp is held in memory of long time local pro Carson Hollis. Elks lodge officials thanked the community for continuing to support the camp and grow the game. They also thanked camp volunteers, Director of camp Grant Bates; Sulphur golf coaches, Taylor Beatley and Linn Marshall; and Elks volunteers, Bryeson Lance, Shawn Barefoot, Jordan Barefoot, and Dustin O’Dell. “I’m looking forward to continuing to grow it each and every year,” Bates said of the camp.

Lady Bulldog softball star Gracie Ratchford was recently named to the All-State roster in slowpitch softball. Ratchford, is pictured with Sulphur coach Heath Gilbert.
