Sulphur’s Colten Cole was named Player of the Week for his outstanding performance last Friday in the Bulldog’s 59-0 district championship win over Victory Christian. It was the team’s sixth consecutive district 3A-2 win this season.
Cole, a 6-3, 237-pound tight end, defensive end and kick-off specialist, had two catches in the game for 38 yards, kicked a 30-yard field goal, kicked off deep all evening, blocked well on offense and was a dominant player at defensive end.
