Time to have fun with snow at Parker Memorial Library! Join us after school on Wednesday, January 7th for a STEM craft day all about snow. Children, tweens and teens are invited to come build edible snowflakes, learn how to make fake snow, and more. All materials and snacks will be provided by the library. Signing up is encouraged.
“Introducing young library users to STEM related activities helps promote curiosity and brings a fun prospective to science,” said Library Branch Manager Ginger Britt. “Plus, having after school programs like this gives a different perspective on what libraries have to offer their communities.”
For more information, you can contact the Parker Memorial Library at (580) 634-2315 or visit the library at 500 West Broadway in Sulphur. The Parker Memorial Library is a branch of the Southern Oklahoma Library System.
