Basketball Homecoming Candidates Announced

Coronation Ceremonies Set Tuesday, Jan. 13

Basketball homecoming activities at Sulphur High School will be gearing up next week as the school will crown the 2026 queen.

The event will be held after the Sulphur-Silo boy’s game at the OSD gym on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

Following is a brief synopsis of each senior queen candidate, princesses, and their escorts:

Senior Candidates

The senior candidates for this year’s coronation ceremony are Madelyn McClure, Amaurie Peters, and Emrie Williams.

Madelyn McClure is the daughter of Misty and Elva Campbell and the late Jay McClure. She attends Midway Hill Baptist Church. Her activities, awards and accomplishments are: varsity powerlifting and FCA. She is on the Principal’s Honor Roll and served as a trainer for Sulphur Bulldog Football.

Her escort is Kale Brakefield, son of Tommy and Libby Brakefield. He attends Restoration Church. His activities, awards and accomplishments include: varsity football, varsity basketball and varsity baseball.

Amaurie Peters is the daughter of Jamie Rozzell. She is a member of Crossway Baptist Church. Her activities, awards and accomplishments are: varsity basketball, varsity track and she was a trainer for Sulphur Bulldog Football. She has served as Student Council President since 2023, is a member of FCA leadership team and Crossway student ministries leadership team.

Amaurie is a 2023-2025 OSSAA track and field state qualifier in multiple events and member of the 2023 4x400 relay state runner-up.

She is a member of National Honor Society National Society of High School Scholars, is on the Principal’s Honor Roll and is a Class of 2026 Honor Graduate.

Her escort is Colten Cole, son of Kerri and Clete Cole.

Colten is a member of Crossway Church. His activities, Awards and accomplishments are: varsity football, varsity basketball, varsity baseball and FCA.

Colten is a member of the State Runner-up football team in 2024 and 2025, a member of the 2025 3A football academic state championship team and was named 3A-2 special teams player of the year for the 3A-2 All District team.

Colten is a member of National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.

Emrie Williams is the daughter of Justin and Jenny Williams. Emrie attends Crossway Baptist Church. Her activities, awards and accomplishments are: varsity golf and FCA.

She is a member of the 2022 and 2023 golf academic state champion teams and the 4A golf regional championship team.

She is also a member of Oklahoma Honor Society.

Her escort is Castin Tully. He is the son of Curt Tully and Kyla Tully.

Castin attends Central Baptist Church. His activities, awards and accomplishments are: varsity basketball and Oklahoma High School Fishing Organization.

He is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society.

Princesses

Serving as princesses for this year’s coronation are Kaelyn Woods, junior, Destrie Muck, sophomore, and Hattie Stiffler, freshman.

Kaelyn Woods is the daughter of Cory and Mika Woods. Katelyn is a member of Crossway Church.

Her activities, accomplishments and awards include: varsity basketball, varsity track, Student Council, Key Club, Youth Leadership Murray County and she serves as Junior Class Vice President..

Katelyn is on the Superintendent’s honor roll, a member of National Honor Society and was named Kiwanis Sophomore of the Year in 2025.

Her escort is Bridge Barrett. He is the son of Brock and Gena Barrett. He is a member of Restoration Church in Ada.

His activities, accomplishments and awards include: varsity football, varsity basketball and varsity baseball.

Destrie Muck is the daughter of Joey and Shannon Muck. Destrie attends First Freewill Baptist Church.

Her activities, accomplishments and awards include: varsity fastpitch and slowpitch softball, varsity golf and girls powerlifting.

She is a member of the FCA leadership team and 2025 girls state champion powerlifting team. Destrie was named 2024 All-District designated player of the year. She is also a member of the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

Her escort is Kaleb Walker. He is the son of Paul and Kelly Pell and Stephen Walker.

His activities, awards and accomplishments include: varsity football, varsity basketball and varsity track.

Hattie Stiffler is the daughter of Daisha Dye and John Stiffler. Hattie attends First Freewill Baptist Church.

Her activities, accomplishments andawardsinclude: varsity basketball and varsity softball.

Her escort is Rush Pittman. He is the son of Geary and Christie Pittman.

Rush is a member of Crossway Church. His activities, accomplishments and awards include: varsity football, varsity basketball and varsity track.

He is a member of FCA leadership team, 2023 and 2025 Class 3A academic state champion football team, 2024 and 2025 Class 3A state runner-up football team and a qualifier in 2025 for 4A 300 hurdles Rush is also on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

Flower Girl, Crown Bearer

Serving as this year’s flower girl and crown bearer are Grayson McGrew and Spurr Archer.

Grayson the daughter of Jamie McGrew and Tyler McGrew. She is in Pre-K and enjoys dance, gymnastics, playing Barbie’s and playing SWAT. When she grows up she wants to be a cheerleader.

Spurr is the son of Bryce Archer and Courtney Pittman and grandson of Kevin and Amy Lovett, Shirley and Terry Pitman and Randy and Wilda Archer.

Spurr is in 1st grade and enjoys all sports, especially football and helping at Fabulous Nutrition.

When he grows up he wants to be an NFL player.
