The 400 block of Muskogee Avenue in downtown Sulphur was part of a four-block area that suffered a direct hit by the April, 2024 tornado. This “mural” type photo shows the block looking north, with the view from east (right end) to west (Museum at left end). This photo is composed of multiple images that depict what a pedestrian might see walking the block on the south side. The Mix Mercantile (at right) has been rebuilt and is open for business across from the Plaza. The Museum, left, has undergone repair and restoration this year continues. PHOTO BY MIKE WEST
