Many Honored At Annual Banquet
Representatives of The Artesian Home, of Sulphur, accept the Sulphur Large Business of the Year Award at last Thursday evening’s joint Sulphur and Davis Chamber of Commerce banquet.

The Sulphur and Davis Chambers of Commerce held their annual joint banquet last Thursday evening at the Murray County Expo Center.

The theme for the event was, “An Evening In The Winner’s Circle.”

Davis Chamber President Brad Bentley and Sulphur Club President Lacee Sartors served as emcees for the evening.

Several county businesses and individuals were recognized and received top honors.

Following is a list of the awards presented and the recipients:

•Civic Club of the Year-Tyre Masonic Lodge #42 of Davis;

•Leadership Murray County Member-Shane Archuleta;

•Sulphur Small Business of the Year-Fabulous Flamingo & Nutrition;

•Davis Small Business of the Year-D & D Outdoors;

•Sulphur Large Business of the Year-Artesian Home;

•Davis Large Business of the Year-C & C Contracting;

•Helen Webber Citizen of the Year-Randi Nowlin; and

•De Lannom Citizen of the year-Terry Dobson.

In closing, Bentley passed the Davis gavel to new present Kelly Fryer and, Sartors passed the Sulphur gavel to new president Kendra Chase.

The award was among many handed out last Thursday at the annual joint Sulphur-Davis Chamber of Commerce banquet.
