Lifters Score Big Recent Meets

Boys, Girls Hoist Their Way To Titles At Dibble, Chickasha

Sulphur powerlifters won again.

The Dogs, winners of eight consecutive state powerlifting titles, captured first place in the large school division of the Dibble meet, nearly doubling second place winner El Reno in total points scored, and the girls won last week’s Chickasha tournament..

Sulphur score a total of 318 points to easily take home the championship trophy at Dibble. El Reno was a distant second in total points with 162, At Chickasha last week, the girls poured on 177 points to beat their nearest rival, Bridge Creek (109 points.)

In each meet, Sulphur competed in the large school division of (Class 3A-6A).
