Tornado-Ravaged Sulphur Firm Reopens After Completion Of Repairs

Tornado-Ravaged Sulphur Firm Reopens After Completion Of Repairs
Two years after devastating damage from the April 27, 2024 tornado, the Sulphur Abstract and Title Company is back open in their original location at 1020 West Second Street. Owners Cindy Bates, holding scissors, and Todd Bates, to her left, long time employee and Cindy’s mother, Jeannie Wallis, to her right, along with many other family members, employees and friends, gathered for a ribbon-cutting and grand re-opening last Thursday, May 21 to celebrate the recovery from the tornado. Although the damage was catastrophic, the abstract office never missed working, setting up temporary offices in Vision Bank. The office is back and ready to handle all your abstracting needs as well as deeds, title insurance, real estate closings, and much, much more, according to the owners. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
