These local kids and their families enjoy summertime fun at the Sulphur splash pad late last week as temperatures neared 100 degrees. With the humidity, however, the temps felt much hotter. Temperatures cooled on Sunday, however, as a storm system brought nearly two inches of rain in some areas. Heat and humidity will return during the middle of this week before more rain chances return Thursday.
