Oak Grove Gets New Fire Truck
Murray County Commissioners Darryl Hudson, left, of Davis, and Colt Williams, right, of Sulphur, join with Oak Grove fireman Rick Haigood in showing off the department’s new fire truck, purchased with the help of a Southern Oklahoma Development Association (SODA) grant. A fireman for the past 27 years, Haigood said the Oak Grove department will perform all the add-on work to get the truck ready for service. The Oak Grove department is headed up by Bart Castleberry, chief, and Patrick Trussell, assistant chief. Castleberry said the department is always looking for new members.
