SULPHUR, OKLA. — Arbuckle Memorial Hospital is announced this week it has been recognized with the 2026 Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP) Patient Satisfaction Award, recognizing the hospital’s commitment to providing quality healthcare and creating a positive experience for the patients and families it serves.
Hospital officials said the recognition is a meaningful accomplishment for Arbuckle Memorial Hospital because patient satisfaction is an important reflection of the care patients receive—not only in the treatment they are provided, but also in how they are treated, heard and supported throughout their healthcare experience.
MBQIP is a quality-improvement initiative designed specifically to help Critical Access Hospitals use quality data to identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen the care they provide to rural communities. The program includes measures related to patient perceptions and engagement, along with patient safety, outpatient care and care transitions. Hospitals use this information to evaluate their performance and identify ways to continually improve the quality of care and patient experience.
