Sulphur City Council members took no action on several items at the regular monthly meeting Monday night.
Beginning with the consent agenda where approval of the council minutes from September 14, 2026 and September 28, 2026 received no action because the completed minutes were not available for approval.Also the Clerk’s Collection and Budget Report received no action.
Another consent agenda item on the Sulphur Municipal Authority agenda to approve payment to Consolidated Pipe & Supply for twelve ½-inch water meters in the amount of $4,425.00 received no action because it was unclear if the meters were properly purchased through the competitive bidding process, through state contract, or how. No action was taken until more information could be given.
