Sulphur, Okla.– Chickasaw National Recreation Area staff will host “Eagle Watch” on Saturday, January 20, 2024 and Saturday, January 27, 2024. Both watches will start at 9 a.m. inside the Travertine Nature Center and continue later in the morning at Lake of the Arbuckles. Nothing beats home grown vegies from the backyard garden. My first seed catalog arrived in the mailbox this week. It’s funny how a bunch of papers with pretty, colorful pictures of plants can make a person so happy. Every year I look forward to seeing the new plants being offered.
