Growing up in this area, Virginia attended school at Katie and Woodland. After graduating from Woodland High School, Class of 1954, she attended business school in Tulsa where she obtained a certificate in Secretarial Education. After she and Robert married, Virginia worked a couple jobs in Davis, including working as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell.

Survivors include her daughter, Tish Gibson and husband Kevin of Dallas, TX; son, Bob Glasgow of Venus, TX; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Warren and two brothers, Johnnie Norman and Buddy Norman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 11, at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating.
