Bill, also known as Coach Parsons, was born September 3, 1936 in Sulphur, to Nina M. (Perkins) and Henry Orval Parsons, and baby brother to Dolas Parsons, Vernon Parsons, Fern (Parsons) Harris, Clifford A. Parsons, Norma Parsons, and Melva (McClure) Parsons.

Bill was predeceased by all of his siblings and his wife, Donna Kay Parsons.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Kathryn R. (Parsons) Avellanet and husband Bruce; son, Clifford H. Parsons and wife Melissa; granddaughter, Shauna R. Budjenska and husband, Matt; granddaughter Caroline K. Parsons; granddaughter Claire E. Parsons; great-granddaughters, Hannah L. Budjenska and Bryn R. Budjenska; sisters-in-law, Jean Parsons and Norma Hasley, and a host of other family and dear friends.
