Darrell Shipman, 73, of Sulphur, Oklahoma, died on May 16, 2025.

He was born in Hobbs, New Mexico in 1951 to GW and Doris Shipman. Darrell attended Hobbs High School before serving with the U.S. Marines. A service for which he was always proud.

Darrell devoted his time and energy to staying in God’s word and leading bible studies in his community.

Darrell will always be remembered for his love of Christ. We couldn’t have asked for a better brother and will miss Darrell every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents GW and Doris Shipman, his brother-in-law Lawrence Harper, his nephews Eric Harper and Tyrone Shipman. He is survived by his daughter Michelle, brother Gerald Wayne Shipman, sisters Trudy Harper and Sonya Guenther, many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
