A long-time resident of Oklahoma City, and in later years, Plano, Texas, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Donald Carr, Oklahoma City. Marian and James were married in Sulphur, Oklahoma, June 15, 1956, and enjoyed 50 years of marriage upon his passing, late December 2006.

Marian is survived by her eldest son, Gregg Carr and his wife, Ann Carr, of Coppell, Texas; her daughter, Lori Carr Printz, of South Fork, Colorado; and her youngest son, Eric Carr and his wife, Michelle Carr, and their sons, Aiden and Mason, of Garden Grove, California.

She was also preceded in death, by sister, Carolyn Shipley Hyde and late husband, Curtis Hyde.

Marian is survived by her brother, Noble Anderson and his wife, Pat Anderson, of Tolar, Texas, and their families, and various other relatives and friends. Final memorial services are pending.
