Born on May 13, 1956, to Barney and Joy (Fires) Baker, Brenda lived a life full of creativity, compassion, and deep family ties. On September 23, 1986, she married the love of her life, Larry Neal. Together, they shared 38 wonderful years built on trust, love, and open communication.

Brenda and Larry’s blended family includes Brad Stiles and wife Chrystal, Breya Stiles, Misty Petterson and husband Jeff, and Dustin Neal and wife Kim. Brenda was a proud grandmother to Josh, Trey, Lacy, Kaylen, Blake,Austin, Hershel, Shance, and Drake; and a doting great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren, with one more expected in October.

She is survived by her devoted father, Barney Baker; and her cherished sisters, Bonnie (James) Williams, Becky (Rick) Thompson, Patsy (Joe) Crouch, and Peggy Baker. Brenda also leaves behind many beloved extended family members and friends who will miss her warmth and vibrant spirit.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joy Baker, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brenda had a creative and curious soul. She had a passion for photography and videography, especially capturing the beauty of storms, the mystery of snakes, and the fantasy of dragons. She also loved listening to rock music and spending time with her family, who were the center of her world.

Brenda’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Family will receive friends at Crossway Baptist Church Chapel on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Dolberg Cemetery in Roff.
