His loving wife, Martha Gail, of 45 years and mother of his children, predeceased him on July 27, 2025, in Sulphur.

He is survived by a daughter, Billie Dawn Wolfe and husband, Terry Wolfe, of Sulphur; a son, Bert Everett Griffin of Huntsville, Texas, and their daughter, Ashlie Agel Nystrom and husband Jerry Nystrom of McAlester; and seven grandchildren.

Bert was a fence builder for 30 plus years in North Central, Texas, then he moved to Sulphur to be closer to his family in his senior years. He enjoyed trips to the Day Trade Market and Braums for vanilla ice cream.

His children and grandchildren loved him dearly and will mis their Grnadpa.

A private family service will be held in the near future.
