Jody Lynn Lowrance

September 5, 1976 – September 3, 2025 Jody Lynn Lowrance was born on September 5, 1976, in Tulsa, to Kenny and Debbie (Bartley) Lowrance. She passed away on September 3, 2025, in Ada.

Jody grew up in Sulphur, where she attended school and graduated from Sulphur High School with the Class of 1995. After high school, she attended East Central University for two years before transferring to the University of Oklahoma, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work. She went on to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing therapy and counseling to many throughout her career. She also devoted herself to mentoring and supervising aspiring social workers, helping them gain the supervised clinical hours required for licensure.

Growing up, Jody enjoyed attending rodeos with her dad and competing in barrel racing and pole bending. She was also a talented basketball player, playing throughout her school years. In her adult life, she found joy in raising her son, as well as spending time crafting and scrapbooking.

Jody was preceded in death by her parents, Kenny and Debbie Lowrance.

She is survived by her beloved son, Cooper Vess Cleburn, and her sisters, Kelly Lowrance and Shannon Lowrance.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept.12, 2025, at the Lowrance Family Cemetery. Family hour will be Thursday, September 11, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Crossway Baptist Church in Sulphur.

Arrangements are under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur.
