Chad attended Sulphur Public Schools until his junior year. He then completed his high school education with an online Christian school. After high school, he spent much of his time working in the fast-food industry. As an avid outdoorsman, Chad could often be found outside observing the beauty of nature.

Chad was known for his big heart, sense of humor and the way he could make anyone laugh. He loved listening to music, working on cars and finding peace in keeping to himself. To have known Chad was to love him. He was so, so loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends who take comfort in knowing he is now at peace.

Chad is survived by his mother, Nancy Dilbeck; his brother, Clinton Carter and wife, Brooke, and their two sons, Emmett and Oliver; his sister, Natalie Hicks and Chassie Carter and Chassie’s children, Kolton and Tyler; as well as his grandparents, Virgie and Roger Koneneke.

In addition to his father, Chad was preceded in death by grandparents, Rick and Georgia Reavis.
