Riley Mack McKee

Riley Mack McKee was born October 9, 1935 in Noonday, Texas to Bonnie (Foreman) McKee and Hoyte McKee.

He died on October 25, 2025, in Ardmore, at Mercy Hospital, at the age of 90 years old. He had resided in Sulphur for almost 20 years. Riley grew up in East Texas, and was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, based in Saudi Arabia. He had a lifelong career in telecommunications, working as a lineman and then a manager. He worked for Southwestern Bell Telecom and AT&T in his early career. He went on to be a Project Manager for Ericsson Telecom, overseeing a multi-million-dollar data and phone cabling upgrade at University of Massachusetts. Riley later started his own data cabling and phone system business with his wife Nancy and son Travis.

Riley was a hard worker and provider for his family. He was friendly and outgoing — never met a stranger. His greatest joy was being “PaPa” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Riley is survived by his daughter, Brenda Chamness, and her husband KD; his daughter Kristin Guinn and her children Nijel Quadri, Ernest Guinn IV, Grayson Guinn, and Emma Guinn; his son Travis McKee and his children Morgan McKee and Kayla Mckee; and great-grandchildren Kayci Collins, Jared Eastman II, and Baylee Eastman.

In addition to his parents, Riley was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy King McKee, and his son, Kevin McKee.

The family is holding a memorial service for Riley on December 12th at 1:00 p.m. at 401 E. Tahlequah, Sulphur, OK, 73086.
