Jerry Dewayne White
Jerry Dewayne White

After graduating from Newcastle High School, Dewayne began working for Wilson Foods in Oklahoma City, prior to working for Gabriel Shocks in Chickasha. Following the death of his father in 2009, he moved to Davis to help and care for his mother. While residing in Davis, Dewayne worked night shift maintenance at the Sulphur Walmart, as well as performing custodial work at the First Baptist Church in Davis.
Dewayne, quiet by nature, was a man of habits. He started every morning with breakfast at Burger Land, where he formed many friendships. He was a true sports fanatic. He, along with his mother, kept up with every sport they could find to watch. Upon moving to Davis, he quickly became a huge Davis Wolves fan and attended as many games as he could. Dewayne lived for the next game, no matter what sport.
Following the path of his father, Dewayne became regularly active in the First Baptist Church. In addition to the custodial work at the church, Dewayne regularly assisted with the distribution of commodities each month, as well as anywhere else he was needed. In younger years, Dewayne loved to fish, hunt, and go camping.
