Janet devoted her adult life to caring for her children and enjoyed being a full-time homemaker. She was known as a pillar of the Cornerstone Church in Wheeler, TX.

Survivors include one daughter, Kimla Casey and husband John of Canon City, CO; two sons, Don Horton and wife Valerie of Amarillo, TX, and Darryl Horton and wife Zonia of Pampa, TX; and several grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, L.P. “Cotton” Horton; and late husband, Ray McClellan; two sons, Gary and James Horton; and three grandsons.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23, at the Hennepin Cemetery in Hennepin. Pastor Erron Mercer will officiate the service.
