He had achieved his Master’s in Education and had worked in Colorado and Oklahoma as a teacher before retiring from Sulphur Schools. He had also worked as a home builder. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy on December 29, 2023; and by his brothers, Berlin, Bob, and Wendell.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael Lowell Malloy and wife, Letha of Byng; sister, Ola Fay Trent of Stratford; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Dyana.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 26, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026 at DeArman Funeral Chapel in Sulphur, with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur, OK.
