Amy grew up in Davis, graduating from Davis High School, class of 1997. Throughout her married life she and her family resided in Germany, Colorado, and Missouri, prior to her returning to Davis. While living in Missouri, Amy earned her LPN license and began working in the medical field. Upon returning to Davis, she worked for the Good Shepherd Clinic in Ardmore, until failing health prevented her from working.

Survivors include her children, Christopher York, Katelynne Torrez, Jordyn Torrez, and Alayna Torrez; her mother, Barbara Hill; her brother, Andy Hill; and nephew, Matthew Hill.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Randy; maternal grandparents, Bo and Doris Meader; and paternal grandparents, RJ and Margie Hill.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr officiating.
