James Clark Moore

James Clark Moore

James Clark Moore was born on January 2, 1952, in Chickasha, to the late Wendell Irving and Mary Louise (Adams) Moore. He passed died Tuesday, April 30 28, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 74. At the age of 16, James married the former Ms. Judy Walker on November 27, 1968, in Chickasha. Together, they shared 57 years of marriage. During the early years of his married life, James worked several jobs, including driving a Taxi in Oklahoma City and later an eighteen-wheeler. He finally settled in the car business and became the owner of his own dealership in Sulphur in 1986.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Judy; two daughters, Tina Stack and husband Robert and Meredith Carter and husband Kevin; two sons, James Moore, II and Wendell Moore and wife Trish; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathy Potts and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Mae Williams who raised him; one sister, Donna Kennedy; and one brother, Dwayne Moore.

Graveside funeral services will held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 6, at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis. Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating.
