Ronnie Rex Grimm

Ronnie Rex Grimm, a resident of Hickory, was born on July 4, 1940 in Ponca City, to Bonnie (Smith) and Alfred Grimm. He passed away in Davis on May 24, 2026 at the age of 85. Ronnie had worked as a dairy farmer, but loved Semis and longed to be a truck driver.

Ronnie lived in Fairfax, the first several years of his life. In 1946, his family moved to the Hickory/ Sulphur area. He attended Oklahoma School for the Deaf and Oklahoma Vocational Technical School in Okmulgee. He along with his parents owned and operated a dairy farm in Hickory. After selling the dairy, Ronnie worked at Oklahoma School for the Deaf, retiring after 20 plus years of service.

Ronnie loved animals especially dogs. He enjoyed putting together models, restoring old tractors, going to antique tractor shows and spending time with his friends who were like family to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents,Alfred and Bonnie Grimm. He is survived by daughter, Rhonda and husband Hugh Odom of Sulphur; son, Chris and wife Amy Grimm, Hickory; grandchildren, Devyn, Rylea, Jordyn Grimm, Levi and Kirsten Odom; several cousins, and many friends.

A private family service was held on Friday, May 29. Services were under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur.
