Preston Gage Friemel
Preston Gage Friemel
Born on August 26, 1994, in Ardmore, Gage brought a positive energy into the world as he continued to do until his passing. He was a man who loved deeply and had a spirit that was infectious. Gage loved his native heritage, basketball, and video games. To know Gage was to love him; he possessed a rare kindness and generosity that defined how he treated people. Gage, more recently, worked as a Mixer at Shawnee Milling Company in Shawnee. He was a hard worker who was loved by his coworkers and bosses; his work ethic, compassionate nature, and graciousness genuinely impacted everyone who met him.
Above all else, Gage’s greatest joy and proudest achievement in his short life were his two beautiful daughters, Kharma Linda Ra-Ann (7) and Brook-LeeAnn Paige (5) Friemel. He was a supportive father who lived for his girls, always striving to fill their lives with joy, affection, and beautiful memories. His love for them will continue to guide and protect them always.
More recently, Gage was proud to celebrate his recovery. He worked hard when he completed rehabilitation; he and his Aunt Jackie set goals, which he exceeded. As a result of his efforts and a strong need to honor his two girls, Gage was self-sufficient just 10 months after he returned. He continues to inspire others with his commitment to recovery.

Every life Gage touched was made better by just knowing him. He was a warm, fun, and loving man whose impact will always be felt. Gage’s memory will live on through the stories we share, the love and support we carry for his daughters, and the enduring bond of family and friends that death will not conquer.
