Marialice was born August 27, 1940, in Ponca City, to the late Roger and Sarah (Gurly) Sitton. She died on Saturday, July 4, in Sulphur, at the age of 85.

Marialice grew up in Oklahoma City. After graduating from U.S. Grant High School.

Marialice married Jimmy Barlow and from this union two children were born, Jennifer and Mike. Later, on July 6, 1977, she married Robert Knox “Bob” Payne in Durant.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Smith of Davis; three grandchildren, Christopher James Smith, Summer Nicole Hanson and husband, Clayton, and Michael Thomas Smith; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marialice was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Payne, and her son, James Michael “Mike” Barlow.
