David Blasingame

David Blasingame was born on September 30, 1969, in Richmond, CA. He passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026.

David is survived by his father, Larry Blasingame; his mother, Adeline Blasingame; his brothers, Garret, Derrick, and James Blasingame; his sister, Trisha Silva Munoz; his three children, John, Timothy, and Rachel; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.

David spent his childhood in Richmond, CA. During his high school years, he and his family gradually moved south until they eventually settled in the high desert above Los Angeles. Immediately following his high school graduation, David enlisted in the United States Army and attended basic training in Oklahoma. He was later stationed in Germany as a missile technician. While there, he traveled extensively throughout Europe with his brother, Garret, who was also stationed in Germany.

A few years after his discharge from the military, David moved to Arkansas with friends and spent several years living between Arkansas, Tennessee, and Alabama. During this time, he became the proud father of three children—John, Timothy, and Rachel—whom he loved and cared for deeply.

Later, David returned to Southern California with his family and eventually became a security supervisor for hotel casinos in the Las Vegas area. In 2021, he accepted a similar position at a hotel casino owned by Circus Circus in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2022, he returned home to care for his mother during her health struggles. In November 2024, David and his parents relocated to Sulphur.

David loved reading novels and enjoyed listening to all types of music. He always had a smile on his face and was ready with a joke or a riddle. He also found great joy in helping others whenever he could.

David was a lifelong and devoted fan of the Raiders and was proud to be a member of “Raider Nation.” He will be deeply missed by his family and friends all over the world.

A Celebration of Life was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at Crossway Baptist Church in Sulphur, with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating.
