Leonard Ray “Bear” Jones, of Sulphur, was born on June 5, 1957 in Wynnewood, to Evelyn (Wallace) and Samuel Amos. He passed away in Oklahoma City, on August 13, 2026 at the age of 69. He had worked as a city worker.
He was a good fast pitch pitcher, loved taking nephews to Tushkahoma, and fishing. He also enjoyed taking neices to eat and Walmart where they helped him shop. He especially loved his dog, Cheban.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday,Aug. 20, 2026 at DeArman Funeral Home in Sulphur. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, at the DeArman Funeral Chapel in Sulphur.
