She married Clifford Hyatt on Friday, March 7,1975 in Durant.

Rosie’s life was spent as a homemaker, caretaker of everyone, mama to three girls, and Nanny to all her grands.

Rosie’s survivors include her three daughters, Laura and Jamey Coffia of Prairie View, Lisa and Jerry Wood of Sulphur, and Angie and Brandon Tatum of Vamoosa. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister, Charles and Diana Hunt of Roff, Ronald McCullar of Ada, Cathleen Cranford and significant other Doyle Simpson of Roff. Rosie is also leaving behind nine grandkids, 28 great grandkids, andone great-great granddaughter. Rosie also leaves behind her sister in friendship, Lue, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Rosie was reunited in Heaven with her parents; the love of her life, Clifford Hyatt; granddaughter, Loren Rose Phillips; and great grandson, Julian Tylee Weant; one brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Billie Hunt; and numerous other family members.

Rosie’s grandsons, Tyler and Jessie Phillips, Brawny and T J Bratcher, Dylan, Dakota, and Dalton Tatum, will serve as pallbearers to carry their Nanny to her final resting spot . Honorary bearers will be nephews and great grandsons, Robert and Chad Hunt, Justin Cranford, Riley, Rayden, and Jaxen Phillips.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026 at Oak Avenue Baptist Church in Ada, officiated by Tony Folger. Burial followed at Lightning Ridge Cemetery in Roff under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur.

Rosie’s legacy is remembered for her strong family ties, love of talking, and the love she shared with everyone she met.
