Scott was born in Lawton to Dixson and Donnas Gorrell on November 7, 1961. He attended school in Sulphur where he played sports in football and wrestled for the Bulldogs and never shied away from yelling “Boomer” if he saw another fan. He made friends everywhere he went. He was an avid fan of OU. Scott worked in drywall for 40plus years.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Trisha; granddaughter, Jennifer; brother, Garland; sisters Karen and Lisa.

Scott is survived by his son, Scott Gorrell Jr., Ada, and his dog, “Bear,” of the home.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Arbuckle Memorial Hospital, Mercy Hospital, the Chickasaw Nation and the DeArman Funeral Home.

A Private Memorial and scattering of his ashes will be held at a later date. BOOMER
