William Max “Bill” Kesler

William Max “Bill” Kesler, was born on September 11, 1942, in Oklahoma City. He passed away on Thursday, Sept.10, just minutes before his 84th birthday, in Sulphur. Bill and the former Ms. Ruby Geneva Woodrome were united in marriage on February 20, 1965, in Duncan. She preceded him in death on February 29, 2020.

Bill grew up in Addington, being raised by his mother and grandmother. He attended school in Duncan, graduating from Duncan High School in 1960. Following high school, he briefly attended Cameron University in Duncan, prior to joining the United States Air Force in February of 1961.

Survivors include three daughters, Sherry Kesler, Alexandra Wilson, and Kristie Diaz; two sons, Kelly Kesler and wife, Krysti, and Willie Kesler and wife, Krystal; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Gene Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 17, at the First Baptist Church of Davis with Pastor Tony Randol officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis.
