Robert grew up in Wright City, graduating from Wright City High School. Later in life, he attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree.

Survivors include one son, Robert Ensley, Jr. and wife Dee; four grandchildren, Kandee Raynes and husband Benny, Dallas Ensley and wife Rachel, Garrett Ensley and wife Mackenzie, and Kaitlyn Ensley; as well as one great-grandson, Kutter.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death one son, Kenneth Wayne Ensley in 2012, and daughter-in-law, Penny Ensley in 2021.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sept.15, at the Oaklawn Cemetery, in Wynnewood.
