Lola and her beloved husband, Edgar Perry “Ed” Warner, were united in marriage on August 28, 1955, in Davis. Together, they were blessed with two children, Steven and Judith.

Lola grew up on a working dairy farm in Davis. After marrying Ed, they settled in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they began their working lives. Lola began her career as a Special Education Teacher at Red Rock School in Las Vegas. She devoted many years to her profession and was deeply loved by her students and fellow staff members.

Lola, affectionately known as “GRUMP” by her grandchildren— and eventually by just about everyone—had a passion and love for her family and friends like no other. She and Ed shared a love of travel and passed that love on to their grandchildren, taking them on countless memorable adventures throughout their lives. After retiring, Lola and Ed returned to Davis, where they continued to travel and remained constant sources of love, encouragement, and support for their grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their many activities.

Lola and Ed also spent countless hours investing their time and energy in the Murray County Antique Tractor Club, an organization that became an important part of their lives.

Lola was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edgar Perry Warner; her son, Steve Warner; her son-in-law, Ricky Stutt; her parents, Otis Carl and Emmogene Vernon; her siblings, Otis (Ruby), Joanna (Carl), Marvin (Minnie Mae), and Bobby (Doris); and sisters-in-law Mary Basgall, Wanda Harp (Jack), and Wanda Warner.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Judy Stutt, of Decatur; daughter-in-law, Karen Decker, of Decatur; and her grandchildren, Fred Jones and wife Dana, of Runaway Bay, Amber Kirbie and husband Mark, of Paradise, Curt Warner and wife Jamie, of Buena Vista, Colorado, Jessie Evans and husband, Chad of Comanche, Jake Warner, of Decatur, and Ben Decker and fiancée Kayla, of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Brody Jones and wife Ashlynn, Brac Jones, Bowen Jones, Mariah Kirbie, Maci Kirbie, Weston Evans, Avery Evans, Jakob Warner, Addy Warner, Pearl Warner, and Waylon Warner.

Also left to cherish her memory are brothers-in-law, Bob Warner and Virgil Basgall; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; countless friends; and her adopted family, Rick and Pam Powers, Rob and Marina Powers, Richard, Michel and Maddox Powers, Gary and Michelle Levin, and Renee Martinez and family.

Lola’s love for her family, her generosity of spirit, her sense of humor, and the memories she created with those she loved will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on October 3, 2026, at Arbuckle View SDA Church.
