Lee Roy was born March 27th, 1933, in Davis, to the late Roy Lonzo and Evolene (Burkhart) Jeter. He died on Sunday, Oct.11, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 93. He and the former Ms. Olga Lou Arnold were united in marriage on June 2, 1956, in Sulphur. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2011. Others preceding him in death include one son, Bobby Jeter and his three brothers, Kenneth, Jimmy, and William Jeter.

Survivors include his daughter, Anita Eddy of Sulphur; his son, Rocky Jeter and wife Tina of Hennepin; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
