She married Glen Diacon, Sr. on May 5, 1956 in Sulphur, and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1991. She had worked many places including business owner and school teacher. She was a member of the First Baptist Church (Crossway).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026 at DeArman Funeral Home in Sulphur from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at Crossway on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating.
