Boys, 3, 7, Hurt In Nearly 100-Ft. Fall Off Park Trail

Two Fittstown boys sustained serious injuries after falling nearly 100 feet off the Rock Creek Trail, in the top portion of this photo. The youngest boy fell to the bottom and plunged into Rock Creek while his older brother came to rest on a ledge in the bottom.

Two boys, 3 and 7, plummeted nearly 100 feet down a shear cliff while hiking with their grandmother, older sister and the family’s dog on a trail in Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The incident occurred on Feb. 25.

County Undersheriff Commended For Helping Stop Pursuit

County Undersheriff Commended For Helping Stop Pursuit

Murray County Undersheriff Ben Flowers received a commendation from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control for his help in stopping a pursuit that reached speeds of 150 miles per hour.
