Although the Sulphur Lady Bulldogs fell short of winning the state title on the court, they were awarded the academic state championship in a ceremony at the state title game last Saturday in Oklahoma City.The girls are pictured above with their trophy along with head coach Toby Todd, assistant Tracy Eldred, principal Clete Cole and superintendent Paula Crawford. The Lady Bulldogs lost in the first round of state to the eventual champion, Adair.

The Sulphur Lady Bulldogs season came to an end last Thursday in the first round of the Class 3A State Tournament.
