Graveside funeral services for Bennie Lee Parks, 89, Sulphur, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur with Dennis Pulley officiating. Military services will be provided by the U.S. Marines Corps Honor Team. DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur will be in charge of arrangements.

Bennie was born July 13, 1934 in Sulphur to Jodie Lee and Myrtle (Moore) Parks. He passed away on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023 in Clarksville, TN at the age of 89 years, five months and five days.

Bennie is survived by his children, Rebecca Gaston, Allyson Hunt-Parks and Scott Parks. He is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, George and Julia Parks; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Sanders; and the mother of his children, Jane Parks.
