Claudine LaJune (Roland) Moore

Claudine LaJune (Roland) Moore, 84 years of age, passed away on April 3, 2024, in Blanchard. The daughter of Clarence Columbus and Virgie Lee (Gordon) Roland, Claudine was born on June 6, 1939, in Stratford.

Claudine spent most of her life attending Wynnewood schools but graduated from Dibble High School with the class of 1957. She lived in several different places including Newcastle, Oklahoma City, and Shawnee, but considered herself from Roff. She was very athletic, especially when she was younger and enjoyed playing softball. Claudine was always an active person, always working. Her family said she was an amateur landscaper, having used a chainsaw in the yard just five years ago. She was also a collector of antiques, and collector of rocks. Claudine loved making things pretty, crocheting, and knitting. Most of all, they said she loved to dance. She liked county and western dancing, especially the 2-Step and Waltzing. She was a regular at the VFW, Arbuckle Ballroom and The Coral in Sulphur. Claudine loved her family and will be missed by all that knew her.

Claudine was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Glenn “Raz” Moore; a grandchild, Jennifer Moore; great grandchild, James Chandler and two brothers, Jimmy and Calvin Roland.

Claudine is survived by her daughter, Regina Eaton of Blanchard; son, Rick Moore and wife Elizabeth of Blanchard; grandchildren, Elijah “Blu” Moore, Waylon Eaton, Brandy Moore, Sarah Moore, Amy Chandler, Jamie Chandler, Nikki Moore, Reba Moore, and Jessica Hastings; great grandchildren, Shaylie, Madison, Jianna, Lily, Anabella, Allyson, Jenevieve, Riley, Elizabeth, Jairayhlyn, Tavyn, Nikayla, Ensley and Langston; one great-great grandchild, Malaya; one brother, Clinton Roland of Roff and many other loved ones and friends.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Palmer Cemetery in Sulphur.
