Cody Don Lenard

Cody Don Lenard was born July 18, 1991, in Oklahoma City, to Teddy Don and Belinda Ann (Harper) Lenard. He died on Monday, December 6, 2021, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 30 years, 4 months and 20 days.

Cody grew up in Mill Creek, graduating from Mill Creek High School, class of 2009. On June 9, 2017, he married Dawn Marie Davis in Arkansas. At the time of his death, Cody was employed as a security guard at the Artesian Hotel and Casino in Sulphur.

Cody was a very loving and devoted husband and father. His family meant everything to him. Cody worked hard to provide the very best he could for his wife and children.

He was a dirt bike enthusiast. He greatly enjoyed riding his bike, every chance he found. He also enjoyed playing video games with his kids and hunting with his father.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn; five children, Morgan, Kiri, Emily, Zaydenn and Zaylenn; mother, Belinda Powers and husband, Joel of Sulphur; father, Teddy Lenard and wife, Misty of Mill Creek; paternal grandfather, Edward Lenard of Mill Creek; one sister, Shayna Lenard of Sulphur; and one brother, Colton Lenard of Mill Creek. Cody was eagerly awaiting, the birth of his sixth child, Harper.

Cody was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Diane Harper, as well as his paternal grandmother, Linda Lenard.

Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at the Mill Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church with Brother Jon Smith officiating. Interment followed at the Mill Creek Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Sulphur.
