Donna Fae Johnston

Donna Fae Johnston was born July 7, 1941, in Chickasha, to the late Walter and Ruby Lee (Post) Cooper. She died on Tuesday, April 18, in Davis, at the age of 81. She and Charles Roy Johnston, Sr. were married on August 3, 1957, in Wichita Falls, TX. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2009.

Survivors include two daughters, Lucinthia “Cindy” Johnston of Tulsa, and Jennifer Grover of Konawa; four sons, Charles Johnston, Jr. of Davis, Richard “Mike” Johnston and Steven Johnston both of Hennepin, and Anthony Johnston of Pauls Valley; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Debra K. Lowenstein, Carolyn Jean Thompson, Brenda Legrand, Pamala Keskemety, and Billy Ray Henry.

In addition to her parents and husband, those preceding her in death include one granddaughter, Jo Ann Johnston; three siblings, Sandy Gail Beasley, John Wayne Cooper, Barbara Ann Smitt; two nieces, Chasity Dawn Legrand and Brarlee Ray Henry; and one nephew, Eli Clark Good.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 28, at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr officiating. Services are entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home, of Davis.
