Doris Belle Vernon

Doris Belle (Tucker) Vernon was born February 9, 1935, in Wayne, to the late William C. “Bud” and Leona M. (Turner) Tucker. She passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Oklahoma City, following a brief illness. Doris and Robert Lemuel “Bobby” Vernon were married on June 12, 1954. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1999.

A memorial service will be held on February 25, 2023, at the Arbuckle View Seventh Day Adventist Church on Hwy 7, east of Davis. A full obituary will publish closer to service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the “Arbuckle View Pathfinders”, c/o the Arbuckle View Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Services are entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Davis.
