Hattie C. Stiffler

Hattie C. Stiffler was born on March 12, 1923 in Manford, OK to James Dorton and Annie (Baker) Montgomery. Hattie passed away on June 25, 2023 in Yukon, OK at the age of 100. She married John Stiffler on May 8, 1947 in Bakersfield, CA. She was a member of the Hinton Pentecostal Holiness Church and greatly loved her church attending there for many years.

Survivors include her children, Jack Stiffler and wife, Rita of Sulphur, and Susie Nickel and husband, Nick of Yukon; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; her brother, Elmer Montgomery of Welty, OK; and many other relatives and friends.

Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Annie Montgomery; her husband, John Stiffler; her sisters, Mary Rich, Lizzie Beaver, Mae Hutchinson and Eddie Hinkel; and her brothers, Wes Montgomery, Homer Montgomery, Claude Montgomery, Raymond Montgomery, Dale Montgomery, and Fred Montgomery.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Hinton Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Ronnie and Nancy Kuhn officiating. Burial was Hinton Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Hinton.
